W. Craig Fowler
Craig has been a Partner with O’Rourke, Hogan, Fowler & Dwyer since 1990.
Craig has spent over 45 years representing real estate developers and privately-held businesses of all types. This has included all types of sophisticated transactions, including commercial real estate acquisitions, entitlements, financings, leases and sales, and also general domestic and international business acquisitions, sales and other general transactions. In particular, Craig has handled leases and related matters for both landlords and tenants aggregating more than 50 million square feet. Craig’s work has been in the Midwest (principally Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Kentucky), in many other parts of the United States (including New York State, Maryland, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington State), and in Canada.
In addition to his professional activities, Craig is and has been active in a variety of charitable and other extra-curricular activities. Among these are the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago, Chicago, Illinois (Bishop and Trustees, Development Committee and Bishop’s Associates); Christ Episcopal Church, Winnetka, Illinois (Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Clerk, and Vestry); University of Notre Dame Alumni Association (National Alumni Board of Directors); Notre Dame Club of Chicago (President, Board of Governors, and “Award of the Year” Recipient); Notre Dame Club of Chicago Scholarship Foundation (Board of Trustees); New Trier High School Booster Club, Winnetka, Illinois (First Vice President, Second Vice President, and Board of Directors); Skokie Country Club, Glencoe, Illinois (President, Board of Directors, Nominating Committee, and Chair of Admissions Committee); and Union League Club of Chicago (Membership Committee and pro bono representation).
Prior to joining the Firm in 1990, Craig was with Schuyler, Roche & Zwirner, A Professional Corporation, Chicago, Illinois (formerly known as Hubachek, Kelly, Rauch & Kirby, P.C. and as Hubachek & Kelly, P.C.), where he had been an Associate beginning in 1978 and a Partner beginning in 1984.
